BUILDING GODLY FOUNDATIONS FOR INCREDIBLE FUTURES

Newborn - 5th Grade

Isn’t it exciting to watch our kids love God, learn His ways, and share Him with others? At ffcKids, that is why we exist! Our carefully trained team and state-of-the-art classrooms provide an engaging, fun and safe environment to help your kids connect well with God and with each other— no matter their age!

Besides your kids’ spiritual and social development, we also take their security very seriously. We require background checks to be updated continuously on each volunteer serving within our ministry. We also require claim check codes to be presented at drop-off and pickup to your child’s security.

Nursery

Newborn - 2 Years Old

Walk into any one of our nursery classrooms, and you’ll find a peace-filled environment ready to welcome your little one. During each service, your babies are cared for, prayed over and played with while you enjoy service!

ffcKIDS Dream Team Positions:

Small Group Leaders

We have small group leaders in all 3 elementary environments. The role of a SGL is to build strong, meaningful relationships with our kids through the use of weekly small group curriculum. The goal of our small groups is to help kids connect with others in a healthy way while bringing discipleship through interactive activities.

KinderKIDS Teachers

Our KinderKIDS Teachers utilize the weekly curriculum provided to do small teaching segments throughout the service. This could include an offering lesson, bible story, or group activity.

Studio45 Stage Team

Our Studio45 Stage team utilizes weekly curriculum to do teaching segments throughout the service from the stage to our older 4th & 5th graders. This could include a game segment, offering, announcements, or bible lesson. Experience is helpful, but not necessary as training will be done by our pastors.

Writers

We are striving to bring more consistent communication to our parents to encourage them on their parent journey, to empower them with tools and resources, and to keep them informed on what’s happening for their kids and how they can be involved. This will be done through monthly parent newsletters as well as weekly social media posts. We are looking for people with a passion to write as well as people who have an eye for layout design.

Event Planning Team

Whether it’s an in-service event like Easter Weekend, A minor out of service event like laser tag, or a major out of service event like the Father-Daughter Dance or VBS… it takes a group of people to accomplish delegated tasks to pull each event off. If you are crafty, administrative, or just like to put on events/parties, then this may be a team for you.

Care Team

On a weekly basis we have a team of people who meet up at the church to connect with first time guests as well as bring care to kids already in our ministry through calls, hand written cards, emails, and prayer. This is one way we work to make a big church feel small as we notice other people’s needs. If you are comfortable on the phone or like to make people feel special by writing cards. This may be the team for you.

Facility Team

There are always small “fixer-upper” projects throughout our kid’s ministry environments. If you are handy with some tools, then join our ffcKIDS Facilities Director once a month to knock out different projects to keep our environments looking good.

Curriculum Prep Team

If you are driven by tasks and like to work behind the scenes than this can be a role for you. This team weekly preps curriculum folders and buckets as well as set up environments for our 4 weekly services.

ffcKIDS Leadership Positions:

Incentives Director

We want to create more incentives for kids within our ministry. From Bible Buck Machines to Prize Stores, we want to utilize our resources to help kids learn God’s Word and build healthy disciplines in their lives. We are looking for someone who is organized and administrative to oversee this strategy.

CreativeKIDS Director

CreativeKIDS is an extracurricular ministry for kids to learn how to honor God with their talents in the areas of acting, dancing, and singing. Whether its doing a monthly creative element in our kid’s ministry, a special in “Big” Church, or a bi-annual kids production; we want to develop kids in the arts.

Sunday School Director

Many of our core kids come to multiple services on a weekend due to their parents serving as well as attending services. We want to utilize this as an opportunity for discipleship. We are looking for someone who is good relationally as we strive to bring mentorship and spiritual maturity to our core group of kids.

Social Media Director

This position requires someone who is familiar with the different aspects of the social media world that will help create a consistent presence for our kid’s ministry through Facebook and Instagram. This role will be responsible for submitting weekly posts for approval and schedule posts daily. Skills in writing and graphics are helpful, but not necessary.

A-Teamer

If you like working behind the scenes on a computer than this may be a position for you. A stands for “Administrative” and will be working specifically with our service scheduling program online. Training is provided. The main roles would be to set up service templates online for each series as well as transfer the team schedule from excel to the service planning program.
